The U.S. Local Business Association (USLBA) recently awarded Russell Post Sotheby’s International Realty the 2008 Best of Key Largo Award in the Real Estate Agents category.

Each year, the USLBA “Best of Local Business” Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their community and business category. These local companies have enhanced the positive image of small business through outstanding service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2008 Award Program focused on quality, not quantity. Winners were determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USLBA and data provided by third parties.

Russell Post Sotheby’s International Realty is Ocean Reef’s leading residential real estate broker. Headed by Russell Post, the firm is credited with more than 50 percent of all real estate sales in Ocean Reef since its establishment in 1993.

A resident of Ocean Reef, Post is an active member in the community, supporting a number of causes, including the Medical Center at Ocean Reef, Ocean Reef Cultural Center, ORCAT, Ocean Reef Chamber of Commerce and the Ocean Reef Historical Society. He is also chair of the Board of Trustees at the Academy at Ocean Reef.

Post is also a founding member of the Central Listing Service (CLS) at Ocean Reef, which was formed in 1987 to respond to the community’s desire for an independent organization of real estate firms that would serve as a central clearing house for listed property.
