Alicia Cervera Lamadrid, president of RCRS, a leading real estate brokerage firm in South Florida, has been appointed to sit on the development committee of the Mercy Foundation, the principal fund-raising arm for Mercy Hospital, located in downtown Miami. The Development Committee has been created to assist Mercy Foundation in identifying and soliciting donors and overseeing Mercy Foundation’s fund-raising efforts by generating creative ideas and fund-raising strategies in order to bring more members to the Founders Society.

Cervera Lamadrid has been on the board of The Mercy Foundation since May 2007. The Foundation is managed by a volunteer Board of Directors comprised of community leaders and key supporters.

The Foundation is dedicated to meeting the critical needs of the hospital and its medical staff through support of priority projects and outreach programs. The Foundation raises funds for critical projects of the hospital that would otherwise not be funded. Funds are also raised for projects of specific interest to donors and philanthropists that enhance the hospital’s ability to serve.

Cervera Lamadrid is also involved with United Way, American Red Cross, and Hogar Clinica San Juan De Dios. She currently serves as the Chair of the Master Brokers Forum, as well.
