Teresa King Kinney, Chief Executive Officer

Miami Association of Realtors

A trailblazing leader who has left an indelible legacy on the real estate sector domestically and abroad, Teresa King Kinney has an ability to produce results that’s second to none. Already this year, she was named among the 2025 Swanepoel Power 200’s most powerful people in real estate, ranking No. 10 among organized real estate executives and No. 15 among women executives. She was also recently named a 2025 RISMedia Luminary, 2025 Inman Power Player and 2025 Inman MLS Reinvented Honoree.

King Kinney became chief executive officer of the Miami Association of Realtors in 1993. With fewer than 5,000 members at the time, it is now home to the largest, most active and most successful local real estate council with international impact. It boasts 60,000 current members and was recently named the 2024 Most Innovative Organization/MLS in the U.S. by Inman.

King Kinney’s strategic initiatives transformed what was once a medium-size Realtor association into one of the most innovative and award-winning associations to ever exist. Her efforts also included launching the award-winning MIAMI Global in 1996. The first local association to achieve National Association of Realtors Diamond Global Business status, MIAMI Global has created worldwide partnerships with 279 real estate associations in 75 countries.

Now in her 32nd year as Miami Association of Realtors CEO, King Kinney continues to be a trailblazer. In 2024, she, along with her team, made history by designing, building and opening a global headquarters owned by the Miami Association of Realtors. The leading-edge building is serving members with state-of-the-art technology, conferences, events, innovative classes and more.

A noted speaker and consultant, King Kinney is honored to share her visionary expertise with other industry professionals and organizations.
